Rareflight is a collecting game built on live flight data. Spot real aircraft within 30 km of you, catch them through your camera or AR, and keep every airframe you find in your journal.

Anything within 30 km is yours to catch
Rareflight shows the live aircraft around you. When one comes into range, catch it with your camera or in AR. The server checks the distance on every spot, so nobody fills a collection from a map.
Camera. Point your phone at the aircraft and take the shot. The photo stays on your phone.
AR. Follow the marker on screen to find a jet you can hear but can't see yet.
Range. Browse the map out to 250 km to see what's heading your way. It becomes collectable once it's within 30 km.

The Starter Collection covers what flies over most of the world, from the everyday A320neo to a DC-3 still in service. Anything outside it still lands in your journal.
The rarer the airframe, the bigger the catch
Every type carries a rarity tier. A common narrowbody earns 30 XP, a legendary one earns 300. Bonuses stack on top for a new type (+30), a new airline (+20), spotting after dark (+10) and keeping your daily streak alive.

A journal of every airframe you've seen
Every catch is logged with the aircraft, the airline, its registration, how you caught it and when. Collecting the same type again still counts: your 5th, 10th, 25th airframe of a type each pay a bonus.
Friends. Add friends to see what they've been spotting. They see the aircraft, never where you were standing.
Yours to delete. Delete your account from Settings in the app and every sighting goes with it.
Three missions a day, and a long climb to legend
Each day brings a quick mission, a discovery mission and a stretch goal. Finish them for extra XP and watch your rank change as you level up.
